OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous versus China Glaze Jitterbug

So here we go with another comparison. This time the dark grey foil like ones :) I also got a lot of requests for these two and I have to say I was curious myself. So again on the right hand side you have the bottle pictures. Bellow is my swatch of these two. And again we have no dupes here although they are close. The first difference is the opacity. China Glaze Jitterbug needs just two coats, while OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous (LLM) three. If you look closely at the picture you will see that even the color is not the same. Jitterbug is more silverish.

  1. i like how LLM has a sort of green tint, but i liked the ChG finish better.

  4. All these comparisons make me think that good ideas, as far as color and texture for nail polishes are concerned, are very rare these days ;-)

  6. Thank you for this! I originally fell in love with LLM, but ended up ordering Jitterbug. Now I have no regrets, since they are similar enough for me. :)

  8. Those are pretty similar and I think a lot of that depends on the lighting. Thanks for the comparison.

  10. I like the slight colour difference LLM has over China Glaze, but I think I want to order Jitterbug! It looks smoother & easier to apply.
    Thanks for these!:)

  11. Gosh, this is horrible.
Not the post, the post is marvelous.
But it's horrible how they're similar enough that I feel bad buying both. But they're just different enough for me to feel like I need both. :(
I'll probably end up with Jitterbug though, because it's less expensive.

  12. Iiiiiiinteresting. I prefer LLM color-wise, but it sounds like the China Glaze formula would be more up my alley. Le sigh.

  16. I have both and seeing this comparison....I think I can justify keeping them both. If I had to keep one, it'd be the ChG.

  17. Thank you so much for all those comparison. You make an awesome job and your blog is super helpful!

I'm parted. I love the warm tone of LLM and the finish of Jitterbug. I'd love a mix up, actually. Which one is your personal favorite? :)
