Rescue Beauty Lounge Catherine H.

A polish my friend Day gave me to try. When I opened the box I was so excited about the polish. It looks so magical in the bottle with the purple shimmer. Sadly for me it looks a bit boring on the nail. Sad and boring :( I really hate to say that but I was hoping the polish would look the same as in the bottle. On the other hand the formula was great as you would expect from RBL. Do you like it or not? :)

  1. This was the only one from the collection I liked. Anne and Catherine were huge disappointments IMO

  2. I really like this color but I know what you mean about the bottle/nail difference.. I'm thinking this would maybe look a bit more as you wanted with one thin coat of CND Sapphire Sparkle. Do like your pictures though, great capturing of the basecolor!

  3. LOVE! Ahh this one is so pretty! And I think it's understated, not too flashy!

  4. Deborah: that is good idea but then why pay 18 dollars for a polish you have to make look better with another polish :) but I will try it, thanks for the idea.

  6. Hey hay: to be honest I wouldn´t buy it. But that is just because I have so many other polishes and I am on a low budget. It is not a must have for me. Depends on how much you like the color :)

  15. I like this color but I don't love it so I won't buy it. I have heard that BB Couture's "Impact Driver" is basically a dupe for this polish and cheaper too so I might go with that instead :)

  16. I really like it. It would be better if the sparkle showed more on the nail though.

  17. Hmmm, I'll have to think about this twice now. I really liked it but I have encountered shades where it looks much prettier in the bottle than on the nail and I certainly don't want that with a RBL one!

  18. Very pretty!

This kidna blue is a good netural just to match anything but maybe to spice it up put a top sheer coat of something a little sparkly?

  19. I skipped this one, and I'm kind of glad that I did.
I adored Anne, but Catherine underwhelmed me...I imagine this one would too.

Gorgeous pictures as always though. ^_^

  23. To be honest this polish looks bland both in the bottle and on the nail. Definitely not worth an $18 price tag (I think very few polishes should be worth that much.)

  26. I like this shade but shame the bottle sparkles don't translate to the nail. Glad I didn't buy it.

  27. That collection was nice, but they were all kinda boring unless in straight up sun.
