I so much love showing you these older China Glaze polishes. I already posted about the Rodeo Diva Collection which is for me one of the best collections ever made. A year later, in 2009, the fall collection was also very very pretty. So today I bring you swatches of Retro Diva. I again don´t have all 12 of the polishes, just the ones that became permanent. All of these are two coats (guess Stroll would be better with three), perfect and flawless application. I think my favourite is Let´s Groove. What about you? Do you remember this collection and what polishes do you have?
CORDS
LET´S GROOVE
SHORT & SASSY
SKATE NIGHT
STELLA
STROLL
THUNDERBIRD

OMG, I love these colors! True Jewel Tones:)
ReplyDeleteI don't own any of them, sadly my obsession with polish is not old enough! But I've spotted Short & Sassy in a few blogs now, and it's closer and closer to my stash...
ReplyDeleteYou should get them while they are still available :)
DeleteAll of them are amazing but I love and can't be without Stella which I finally got (or I hope so - it's on its way to me) and it's the one of my heart :-) Thanks for the pictures of them all... I guess I'll discover some more must-haves :)

Stella is really beautiful..
DeleteI only recently discovered this collection, let's groove looks awesome! but i got enough purples for now. i bought my friend THUNDERBIRD, she was looking for a metallic red... hope she will like it (i order my polishes online, so i am still waiting for this one to arrive)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful swatches! I love this collection and have Thunderbird and Short & Sassy. Just wondering if you would mind making a post on how your photograph your nails - your watches always look incredible!
ReplyDeleteGood idea. Wish I had more time but I will try to :)
DeleteI really need all of these!
ReplyDeleteStroll, Skate Night and Cords are missing! :)
The others are all favourites of mine <3
A brilliant collection!
I own all but Cord and Skate Night. This was one of my favorite collections. Love Them!
ReplyDeleteNormally I'm not a fan of long nails but yours are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I don't have any polish from this collection - I don't like red polish.
Btw, is Let's Groove OPI Ink's dupe?

Thank you! I don´t think they are dupes, will have a look.
DeleteThanks for posting part of this great fall collection from 2009. It had some real classics in it. The one that caused a lot of love and stir - "cords" still surprises me. I bought it and like your photos show, it was very prone to brush marks. But it was quite sought after on release and really talked up. Maybe because it was in the height of the taupe/grays being really big.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, I remember that :)
DeleteOh they all look gorgeous on you! I have LG and S&S but after seeing your pics I think I 'need' Stella. Stroll looks very similar to Orly Glam or is it CG's Ruby Red Pumps?
ReplyDeleteAhhh my favourite! I have 6 of these that came together in a pack: Cords, Far Out, Let's Groove, Short & Sassy, Skate Night and Stella!
ReplyDeleteWow what a beautiful collection, thank you for sharing. I think I need them all now!
ReplyDeleteWow !
ReplyDeleteJust amazing swatches <3 I really need all of them. They are so gorgeous <3
Gorgeous! My favorite is Let's Groove, but I want them all!
ReplyDeleteLovely swatches- it's so great to revisit these awesome older collections. Great post!
ReplyDeleteYour swatches make me love this collection all over again!
ReplyDeleteWow, Short & Sassy just leaped to the top of my wish list--what a rich, gorgeous shade! Let's Groove is really gorgeous too. I hardly ever wear purple, but LG is just so lush.
ReplyDeleteYour swatches are amazing! I think this is one of my favorite CG collections ever!
