I am sure many of you already know that I am swatching the complete current China Glaze permanent nail polish line. I love this work although it is tons of polishes and it eats a lot of my free time. What I love about this the most is the fact that it reminds me of the many amazing polishes that China Glaze has released in the previous years. And I am trying to show these polishes also to you...my readers. Today I want to show you something special. For me their Rodeo Diva Collection is one of the best nail polish collections that were ever made! It is from fall 2008. I don´t have all the polishes, just the ones that became part of the permanent line. Still I want to share these swatches with you because I feel that each and every one of them is special. The formula is perfect, they cover in two coats and they look like lit from within. What do you think about Rodeo Diva?

this collection never did much for me...though I love your swatches. They are pretty, but I'm not wild about them.

I totally agree with you, I think both Rodeo Diva and Retro Diva collections were some of the best releases by China Glaze. So far I have Rodeo Fanatic and Wagon Trail. Gaussied Up Green is on its way to me. All in all, I hope I'll get them all sooner or later!

ReplyDeleteI totally agree, esp when it comes to a fall collection pick. This one just blew me over and still does. I have had 2nd and in one, a 3rd bottle in one in this collection! The formula and colors are just fab! I would like to see China Glaze re-issue some shades in a large anniversary collection, and of course include a # of polish shades from this collection. Heck, they could have skipped Fall 2011's collection - Metro Chic and just re-issued Rodeo Diva and done a ton better in customer satisfaction as well as sales. Thanks for the really great pick - great shots too!

DeleteI agree with your statement of this being one of the best nail polish collections ever! Cowgirl Up was one of my first nail polishes, and I still love it. I am more attracted to darker colors, which may be why I agree with you, but you've made all these polishes look so pretty! Thank you for sharing them :)

ReplyDeleteOk WOW, this just skyrocketed to my favorite CG collection. And that's saying something since CG is pretty much the top of every polish wishlist I can come up with.
ReplyDeleteI think I might have a domestic brand dupe of Rodeo Fanatic, but I don't have any way to get CG in my country so I can't do a side-by-side comparison. (There's buzz in the cosmetics world that they'll be importing it soon along with OPI though!)
I love the Rodeo Dive collection! Rodeo Fanatic is what my current many/pediatric was done in and these polishes cover great on your real nail and acrylic!
