Hello dear nail polish addicts! I have a quick comparison for you today. On Friday I showed you the Zoya Beach & Surf Collection and the first comment from Danny said that Zoya Kimber (K) is a lot like China Glaze Strawberry Fields (SF), so I thought a comparison would be nice. As you can see these are different. SF is more pink and it covers in three coats. Kimber in two and I guess I like it more because of that. Which one do you like more?

ReplyDeleteSide to side I prefer the Zoya one, but I don't mind of the sheerness of strawberry fields for I layer it over another bright pink and Voilà! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you compared these two! I ordered Kimber, and as soon as I unwrapped it I noticed the striking resemblance to Strawberry Fields. It's good to know that they are different.
ReplyDeleteI like how SF is a bit more "soft" but Kimber gets better coverage in 2 coats making it a good choice when you are crunched for time (as I usually am). I haven't actually worn Kimber yet but I think I like it.
Thanks for the comparison. I just got Kimberly with my Zoya Earth Day promo order... I'll have to decide if that means I can take SF off my wish list. Not sure that I can, because I like the slightly lighter shade, and that it could be used as a layering polish.

ReplyDeleteLOVE when you do comparisons. I am hard pressed to pick a fav between these 2 as I love them both - have them both. But soon will be faced with these issues as I have to narrow down my way to huge 1500+ bottle collection. Will probably sell all of my dupes on eBay and many of my unopened, never been tried on eBay as well too. I need to get down to 200 or less. UGH. Major downsizing on everything I owe.

ReplyDeletethen #2 was Orly's Oui vs OPI's It's My Year.. i didnt even see "It's my year" but i LOVE when you can get it opaque in 2 coats or less.. So glad i picked this one up!
