It is coming faster than you could imagine and I can´t wait for it to be here...yes, Christmas! Having tried these beauties I am even more excited about this time of the year. As always China Glaze Holiday collections contain those classic colours such as red, green, gold and silver. We have cremes and glitter and I think there really is a lot to choose from. Here they are:
WINTER HOLLY
GLITTER ALL THE WAY
ANGEL WINGS
GLISTENING SNOW
BLUE BELLS RING
PIZZAZZ
MERRY BERRY
CRANBERRY SPLASH
RED SATIN
WITH LOVE
PURE JOY over CRANBERRY SPLASH
CHAMPAGNE KISSES
If you are looking for some classic holiday polishes then I am sure you should have a closer look at these. I am absolutely sure you will love at least one of the reds. Yes, they are nothing special, we have seen these before but they have a great formula and you must remember that not everybody has hundreds of polishes like some of us nail polish addicts too. I also like Blue Bells Ring, the perfect frosty blue, it shines so much! But what I love most about this collection are the glitters. I think I will really have a hard time choosing my mani for Christmas Eve...will it be a dark purple base with Glitter All The Way on top or maybe a red base with Pure Joy (sorry about the bad swatch)? The glitters will be perfect for layering. On my swatches I used them alone and these are three coats, still not perfect sometimes. O prefer to layer them.
Let me know what you think, can´t wait to hear your thoughts :)

I really want all the glitters! They would be great for layering!
ReplyDeleteAw! China Glaze usually has my favorite holiday collection, and I'm not overly compelled by any of these. More money for other things, I suppose...
ReplyDeleteThe only one I really want is Winter Holly... all the glitters are nice... but the reds, no thanks...
ReplyDeleteI love Cranberry Splash, the rest are "been there, done that"
ReplyDeletethis collection is meh. oh well, i'm saving up for the holo collection anyways.
ReplyDeleteRed satin looks AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteCelkem nic moc :(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful swatches! I really only want the glitters and maybe Angel Wings.
ReplyDeleteDo you think Pure Joy can be built up on it's own, or is it more of a layering polish?
ReplyDeleteUsually it's hard to limit myself to only a couple of China Glaze's Holiday Polishes, but this year, it's going to be hard to motivate myself to get more than one or two. I'm sorry, but olive green does not say Merry Christmas to me....
ReplyDeleteGorgeous swatches.
ReplyDeleteIs there any chance for you to compare Merry Berry and City Siren? I love how Merry Berry looks, but I'm afraid I already have too many similar reds.
My 2 favorites are Angel Wings and Glistening Snow. Lovely swatches!
ReplyDeleteChampagne kisses is gorgeous! and Merry Berry looks like the perfect Christmas red!
ReplyDeletegreat swatches, thanks for posting them :)
What an amazing collection,I want them all,Champagne kisses is my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteI want the glitters! Can't wait to get them. Thanks for posting these :)
ReplyDeleteI want them all, I really do!
ReplyDeletemust have glitter all the way, reminds me a lot of rbl lovacore. And lately I am totally into red shimmers, so funny I am not a red nailpolish kinda girl :) Champagne kisses and bells ring also look stunning.
ReplyDeletePizazz reminds me too much of happy b-day and the muppet glitter by opi, can't remember the name...uhoh polish overload I guess..
Always love holiday collections, specially CG :)
ReplyDeleteCould you do please some red CG comparisions
(City Siren, Winter Berry etc - old ones, and new reds - WITH LOVE, RED SATIN, CRANBERRY SPLASH, MERRY BERRY)
thank so much! pics perfect, I want them all :)
Ooh, Love Glitter All The Way and Champagne Kisses! I'm meant to be on a no-buy but I can't see that lasting with all these holiday collections coming out! Great swatches :)
ReplyDeleteLove the first look at these and your swatches!
ReplyDeleteThe blue was boring, the same blue color we have seen the entire fall, but the glitters are wonderful, first time I prefer them to red polishes.
ReplyDeleteGood swatches, I am an admirer of your work.
Ty laky s glitry nemají chybu! Mně se moc líbí, ale nemám trpělivost to odlakovávat :D

Red Satin, Cranberry Splash and maybe With Love catch my eye - but I am 100% sure I have others just like them but maybe not as good of formulas since many of my reds are older from the old 'Black Label' days. This is the first look (other then 1 glitter) I have seen of this holiday collection - thanks for the great swatches! Will be interesting to see some comparisons of these reds next to other older reds. I am sure they are out there - even thinking of some not too far back ChG reds I have that look super close esp the creams. I probably won't get any of them - but if I did not have so many polishes this would appeal to me.
ReplyDeletewhat great swatches!! the reds are all stunning. and that blue one... wow! i need that in my collection!!
ReplyDeleteand the champagne glitter...omggggg in love! haha
Hy. How do you remove the glitter polishes? I love glitters but they are soooo hard to get off the nail.
ReplyDeleteI just tried the Champagne Kisses and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI just love these glittering splashes cheers!
ReplyDeleteReally like Winter Holly (:
ReplyDeleteThe reds are gorgeous! I Loved! :)
ReplyDeleteI loved each of them
ReplyDeleteThey are all my style :D

I cannot wait until Christmas. My little girl's first.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic colors. And the glitters just look so festive.
Love Merry Berry! :D
ReplyDeleteI like red nail polish but it will not suit for all dresses. I used to wear silver glitter since it is a winter time now also it suits for all kind of dresses. I simply love it.
ReplyDeleteCool colours. Though the glittery ones are not for everyday use. It will be great to be used during X’mas time. Too bad I did not see these last month.
