Illamasqua Generation Q Nail Varnish in Charisma and Creator - Swatches and Review

Oh I just love this time of the year - time for Illamasqua´s new collection! Will it be a surprise for you if I say that the new collection is yet again full of creativity and inspiration? I am so excited about the Generation Q collection and I already have a huge wishlist ready! I am sure you have already seen the beautiful images connected with the collection so I will just hop right onto the Nail Varnishes.

The new collection has two new Nail Varnishes and here are my swatches. As always I just want to remind you that I take my pictures under natural indoor light with no flash or sun. This is how the polishes will look like in real person:

CHARISMA

CREATOR

I was so excited when I first opened the box and saw them and my excitement lasts until today! I am so in love with these two. It is as if Illamasqua would do exactly the polishes I like to wear. Adding the quality of Illamasqua what more could you want? Both of these apply effortlessly and cover in two coats. I can´t even decide which one I like more...Charisma or Creator? Both of them will be available very soon here.

I promise you that I will be doing comparisons very soon so watch out if there is anything close to these two.

Let me know which one you like!

Chanel Peridot versus China Glaze Rare & Radiant versus OPI Just Spotted the Lizard

Hello everyone, I have one more comparison for you. I know you may have seen these compared already but I just wanted to do my own. On the picture below are Chanel Peridot (P), China Glaze Rare & Radiant (RR) and OPI Just Spotted the Lizard (JSTL). All of these are two coats and I think it is hard to tell it is not only one polish. I think you can call these three dupes. Hope you have a great Friday!

China Glaze Want My Bawdy versus OPI Into The Night

I promised to show you some comparisons of the new China Glaze collection, so why not start today :) I want to show you China Glaze Want My Bawdy (WMB) and OPI Into The Night (ITN). These two are really close, you could even call them dupes. On the picture below I used three coats of each. The only difference I see is that WMB is slightly darker, like it has more depth. But you really have to stare at them trying to find at least some difference. I think that it is pointless to have both. You just have to decide which brand you prefer.

China Glaze New Bohemian Collection 2012 - Swatches and Review

Hello everyone! Good to be back after a vacation I took :)

Today I want to show you a collection I was looking forward to very much. The first press release made me want all of the polishes in the new China Glaze New Bohemian collection. Well have a look at my swatches and see whether they are really worth buying. As always I took my swatches under natural indoor daylight (no sun or flash). Here they are:

SWANKY SILK

RARE & RADIANT

WANT MY BAWDY

DEVIANTLY DARING

NO PLAIN JANE

UNPREDICTABLE

Looking at my swatches you might think that the collection is a bit different from the official pictures. Well yes it is, some of these do not have such a strong duochrome finish. But I have to admit that I still like the collection very much.
Generally it was very easy to work with these, they covered in 2-3 coats, no streaks etc. My favourite is for sure Deviantly Daring (cover almost in one coat), which I am wearing right now. I am sure that you can also see some polishes which look like dupes of other brands. I will try to do all the comparisons asap. Keep an eye for that :)
I would love to hear from you what you think.
